Eskbank House & Museum
Information: Eskbank House was built for industrialist Thomas Brown in 1842. The property has been operating as an historic home and museum since 1966 and features an extensive display of period furniture from the local region. Eskbank House & Museum is home to the nationally significant Lithgow Pottery Collection, the largest collection of its type in Australia. The cottage gardens at Eskbank House feature a stunning array of roses, daffodils, irises and other assorted cool climate plants beautifully maintained by staff of the Lithgow City Council. Admission: adults - $3.00; child (5-16yrs) - $2.00; child (under 5yrs) - free.
