Furneaux Museum
Information: Social and natural history displays focus as much on Tasmanian Aboriginal culture as European culture. Displays are housed in a complex of seven buildings, each of which is an exhibit in its own right. There are over 100 albums of historical photographs and documents. Open weekends and public holidays (except Christmas Day and Good Friday). Hours are 1pm to 5pm September to May, 1pm to 4pm June to August and 1pm to 5pm every afternoon from Boxing Day to mid February.
