Information: The Society's statement of purposes provides that the Society aims are: 'To foster historical interest and knowledge particularly, though not exclusively, within Koroit and the surrounding district; To collect and preserve items of historical interest; To compile and preserve historical records of the district; To work towards the establishment of a museum; To affiliate with the Royal Historical Society of Victoria Inc.; To work in association with the National Trust (Victoria) in the preservation of buildings and objects of architectural and historical interest; (and) To raise funds for the fulfilment of the above objectives'. Founded 1980.
Publications: Quarterly newslatter and a Heritage Trail brochure.
