Koppio Smithy National Trust Museum
Information: The Koppio Smithy National Trust Museum (established 1968) aims to preserve the past for the future by displaying items of all sorts used by pioneers. Displays include a blacksmith workshop and cottage, women's pioneer room, agricultural implements, tractors, stationary engines and vehicles, Heritage Hall, Bob Dobbins barbed wire display, Koppio school, wheat loading shed, a small bank and post office etc. Opening hours are 10am to 5pm Tuesday to Sunday. Closed Monday except public holidays and school holidays. Closed Christmas Day and Good Friday. The Museum is located in the Koppio Hills, around 40 kilometres from Port Lincoln by road.
Events: Heritage Sunday - usually held in October each year.
