Kiama Pilots Cottage Museum:
Information: The Pilots Cottage Museum (PCM), operated by the Kiama & District Historical Society Inc (KDHS), is located next to the Kiama Visitors Centre.The PCM has excellent photographic displays that focus mainly on the early history of the area, particularly shipping, quarrying and dairying. A special exhibition relates to Kiama-born and -bred author and "Sydney Morning Herald" columnist Charmian Clift, whose own books and collaboration with husband George Johnston ("My Brother Jack") are widely known. Normal opening hours are 11am to 3pm, Friday to Monday, groups by arrangement. Entry cost is Adult $3, Concession $2, Family $6.
