Langi Morgala Museum
Information: The Langi Morgala Museum was opened in 1970 to house collections of Aboriginal artefacts and other objects or relevance to the history of Ararat and district. The museum is operated by the Ararat and District Historical Society, and is housed in a building built in 1873 as a wheat and wool store. The museum was named Morgala, an aboriginal word for yesterday. The aboriginal word Langi meaning home was added later. Open: Tues, Wed & Thurs 10am to 3pm Sat & Sun: 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm
