Old Government House
Information: Australia’s oldest public building, Old Government House dates from 1799, but the property owes much of its appearance to the tenure of Governor and Mrs Macquarie from 1810 to 1821. The house was the country residence of the NSW governors for 70 years. It is today furnished in the style and tastes of Mrs Macquarie. A National Trust (NSW) property.
