Cobden and District Historical Society Inc
Information: The Society (founded October 1985) aims to collect and preserve items of local history dating from the start of settlements in the south-west of Victoria and concentrating on dairying and sheep farming. The Society also collects memorabilia from all wars that locals were involved in. Currently the Society is in the process of setting up a museum in the old Chocolyn Hall, which has been moved to Grayland Street, Cobden, on land within the Cobden Pioneer Dairy Park. Establishing the museum will take some time.
Events: Annual Art Festival in March runs for 10 days.
